Sagehen Creek is a headwaters tributary of the Truckee River, below Lake Tahoe. Faerthen will give an introduction to the conditions affecting botany in the basin and its many habitats, the history of the Station, followed by some interesting local plants and fascinating ecological stories. Erica will then discuss the Sagehen Collections Program and the importance of the digitization of botanical information and herbarium collections.
