On Wednesday, Feb 23rd, at 7 pm, the Siskiyou Land Trust is excited to host Michael M. Pollock, Ph.D. a Research Fish Biologist with NOAA’s Northwest Fisheries Science Center. Michael is an expert in the biodiversity patterns of Western river corridors.

About the Webinar: Beaver, those furry little dam building rodents, turn out to be one of the world’s most influential species. Ecosystems with beavers are far healthier, for humans and non-humans alike, than those without them. And the consequences of losing beavers are profound: streams erode, the water table dries up, and species from salmon to swans lose vital habitat.
