At the core of the Alliance’s founding purpose and mission, our Member Group Program grants organizations access to a network of affiliates and partnerships making a difference on issues throughout the Sierra.
We have been working together for over 30 years to protect and restore the natural environment and community values of the Sierra Nevada. In addition to being part of a Sierra-wide team, the Alliance provides Member Groups with resources to increase organizational capacity and elevate their conservation work. - Invitation to recurring Member Group meetings to gather, set coordinated goals, and strategically plan efforts to protect the Sierra.
- Coordinated advocacy and representation, and an online platform to send action alerts, and receive campaign support. Plus, free postings on our regional job board and events page to help with recruitment efforts.
- Workforce capacity and development via our Sierra Nevada AmeriCorps Partnership (SNAP) and Sierra Corps Forestry Fellow Programs. Host a SNAP or Forestry Fellow at a reduced rate.
- Discounts for the Alliance’s bi-annual conservation conference with opportunities to network, collaborate, share, and learn.

Annual Membership Fees
Your fee is based on your organization’s annual budget. Please Note: Budget amounts for land trusts and others doing acquisition or large-scale restoration projects should be based on operational expenditures only.
