Background
Ski With A Ranger tours are led by the United States Department of Agriculture’s Forest Service Conservation Education staff and volunteers through a cooperative effort between the Forest Service and Heavenly Mountain Resort.
Participants must be intermediate level skiers or snowboarders or above, and provide their own lift ticket. No reservations are required. Attendance is on a first-come, first-served basis. Group size is limited to 12 participants.
This free conservation education program shares the mission and role of the Forest Service in ski area management. Participants will also learn about natural resources and environmental stewardship.
