Join us for Pizza and learn about ways to get involved with the local Sierra Nevada Group of the Sierra Club.  While enjoying food and drinks from 1849 Brewery, there will be a short presentation about our local group’s current conservation issues facing the Sierra Nevada and our precious Yuba River and ways to get involved.

We are looking for people who are interested in getting involved with the local Sierra Nevada Group to advocate and organize the community on relevant conservation and recreation issues,  help plan community events and hikes, and clean up trails so we all can enjoy all that Nevada County offers. There are numerous opportunities to get involved in the community and give back, including:

• Outings/hiking leadership
• Trail maintenance and cleanup
• Conservation Advocacy
• Event planning
• Public outreach and recruitment
• Publicity
• Fundraising
