Mammoth Lakes: Fire and Ice: A Land of Contrasts- Interpretive Hike with Jean at Panorama Dome

The Sierra Nevada and the Mono Basin have been sculpted by volcanoes, glaciations, and wildfires. Explore the changing environment on a 3-hour walk up the McGee Creek trail. This trail is moderate, although it does gain elevation.

Where: Park in the dirt lot off of Lake Mary Road, just beyond the junction of the Tamarack Lodge Road

When: August 25th @ 10:30am till 12:30pm

Please bring lunch, water, and layers, and wear hiking-appropriate footwear. Binoculars, cameras, and other accouterment are encouraged!
