EcoTour: Birding, Blue Oaks and Lunch at C&R Ranch

The Eklands invite you to their holistically managed working cattle ranch this spring. Nestled in the oak woodland foothills, this tour offers a chance to explore vibrant ecosystems, learn about sustainable ranching practices, and observe a variety of bird species in their natural habitat. A UTV tour guided by Eklands and NCRLT staff with short walks to birding sites, vistas, and historical cultural markers. Includes coffee, tea, and snacks at the beginning of the tour, and a locally sourced lunch at the end of the tour!

We will meet at the NCRLT office in Philadelphia Square complex in North Chico and caravan to the site. An email with directions and further instructions will be sent out prior to the event.
This event is rain or shine. However, extreme weather will cancel and be rescheduled for a future date.
