What: The Covid-19 pandemic has hit Tahoe’s economy hard. The moment calls for an urgent response to confront the scale of the problem through an amplification and acceleration of Tahoe’s environmental economy, in a way that good, safe green jobs to Tahoe residents. Now is the time to lay the groundwork for an ambitious, coordinated green jobs campaign to help restore, renew, and rejuvenate Tahoe’s people, natural resources, and economy.

Who: Six speakers will address green job opportunities in areas including wildfire prevention, renewable energy, affordable housing, trail building, workforce development and the arts. There will be breakout sessions for participants to share their ideas and connect.
