At HipHopForChange‘s 6th Annual Environmental Justice Summit on August 20, leading BIPOC environmental organizers from the Bay Area and beyond will come together to share experiences and discuss steps to diversify the Green Movement and needs of our vulnerable communities.

In partnership with Presidio Trust and San Francisco Baykeeper, this event will foster collaboration between large NGOs and grassroots environmental justice organizations. The spotlight of this event will be placed on the underserved communities who are most impacted by climate change, in hope that their needs and people will be better represented by the movement.

As one of our flagship events, the Environmental Justice Summit (EJS) will attract and engage a diverse audience and build an inclusive multiracial coalition that crosses cultural, geographic, racial, age, gender, religious, and political boundaries. This will be a free all-ages festival style event that will be accessible to all.
