This year’s annual conference for the Floodplain Management Association will be in Henderson, Nevada. Running Sept. 3–6, the theme of the conference is “Flood Risk — Know Your Odds.” The program will include workshops, technical sessions and panel discussions. For certified floodplain managers, there will be continuing education credits for this event. Early registration rates are available through Tuesday, Aug. 6
