A two-day, in-person interactive training hosted by the Community Governance Partnership,
regional partners, foundations and facilitated by executive trainer David Hunt, internationally recognized for his organizer training and facilitation skills. (Foundation scholarships available!)

Organizational leadership and activists from the newly drawn 3rd Congressional District and adjacent counties, who have an ongoing commitment to building community; have existing roles in activism, environmental, social justice organizations; or have a background/professional interest in advocacy, coalition building, public service and electoral campaigns.

Training Goals:​

• To learn the core principles and process of strategic community organizing
• To build a sense of activist and political community in the region
• To increase our understanding of power and how to build real power to advance change
• To emerge as an inspired and connected force for social and political change
