2012 SNAP Host Site Selection Committee Determines 2012 Sites!

The sixth year of the Sierra Nevada AmeriCorps Partnership was kicked off on Tuesday, August 30th when our 2012 SNAP Host Site Selection Committee convened to review Host Site applications and determine the 2012 Host Sites. The selection of our Host Sites is the first step to another successful and productive year of the SNAP Program. Program staff are very thankful for all of the time and effort the Selection Committee contributed to this process. And without further ado, the moment you all have been waiting for….. our 2012 Host Sites:
• American Rivers (Nevada City)
• CalTrout and Tahoe Resource Conservation District (South Lake Tahoe)
• Eastern Sierra Land Trust (Bishop)
• El Dorado County and Georgetown Divide RCDs and American River Conservancy (Coloma/Placerville)
• Nevada County Land Trust (Grass Valley)
• Placer Land Trust (Auburn)
• Seqouia Riverlands Trust (Visalia)
• Shasta Land Trust (Redding)
• Sierra Foothill Conservancy (Mariposa)
• Sierra Nevada Alliance (South Lake Tahoe)
• Sierra Streams Institute (Nevada City)
• South Yuba River Citizens League (Nevada City)
• Tahoe Environmental Reseach Center (Tahoe City)
• Tahoe-Baikal Institute (South Lake Tahoe)
• WildPlaces (Springville)
With this important first step taken care of, SNAP Staff are now busy compiling all of our new position descriptions so that we can start recruiting members and accepting applications for our 27 positions starting January 23, 2012.
