The Mountain Housing Council is hosting a free virtual speaker series to provide an opportunity for community members to get involved in housing solutions.

On March 24, they’ll hear from Samir Tuma, Founder & CEO of Kila Properties, and Jennifer Sharp, Palisades Tahoe Human Resource Director, Tahoe-Truckee.

The goal of this speaker series is to dive deeper into the types of housing needed to make a vibrant community. In part two of this multi-part series, they’ll focus on employee housing and alternative housing types like a rooming house, dormitory, and a campground, as well as discuss some of the strategies, challenges, and opportunities associated with this type of housing.
