Please join Sierra Business Council’s Sierra CAMP for its June 15th, 2022 public workshop on how community planners can plan for and implement fuel reduction projects for wildfire preparedness.

This 1 hour workshop includes a panel discussion with representatives from the U.S. Forest Service, Placer County, Spatial Informatics Group, and the Whitebark Institute of Interdisciplinary Environmental Sciences followed by question and answer.

Our goal is to advance forest management and wildfire preparedness by helping community planners and Sierra CAMP members better understand how to plan for and implement forest health and fuels reduction projects throughout the region, and encourage collaboration between local jurisdictions, landowners, and other local partners.
