Nevada Public Lands Week 2023

This summer everyone is Feeling the Heat. From record-breaking temperatures to abnormal weather, the climate crisis is having huge impacts on our health, environment, and overall quality of life – especially for frontline communities across Nevada.
That’s why for this year Public Lands Week, we’ll be shining the spotlight on BIPOC communities. Join us and our community partners as we discuss how the climate crisis is impacting our communities, actions you can take to be a climate ally, and to celebrate the 7th Annual Public Lands Day! You can join us either virtually 🖥️ on Wednesday, September 20th at 5:30pm for a Climate Equity + Public Health roundtable or in person 🏜️ at Craig Ranch Regional Park on Saturday, September 23rd at 9am.
- SEPT. 20TH – VIRTUAL EVENT: As we approach the Public Lands Day celebration, we’ll be hosting a virtual roundtable discussion on Climate Equity + Public Health on Wednesday, September 20th at 5:30pm. We’ll be joined by climate leaders and allies across the state of Nevada.
- SEPT. 23RD – IN PERSON EVENT: Public Lands Day is the nation’s largest, single-day volunteer event for public lands, and will be held this year on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Craig Ranch Regional Park at 9am. We’ll be joined by various community partners, have activities for the entire family, host a park clean up, give free food, and so much more!
