Join the American River Conservancy on January 15th for this 5-mile intermediate hike.

The hike has fairly steep elevation changes and starts from the Magnolia parking area. Ami Stroud will guide you through Gerle Loop, a Cedar forest, and over a creek to the Connector Trail that meets at the Down and Up Trail (this is the steepest part of the hike).

You will visit the South Fork of the American River with beautiful views of rolling green foothills.  All of these trails and segments of previously privately owned land were put together over decades of hard work and fund raising by our own American River Conservancy.

Fit 10-year-olds+ welcome. Well-behaved dog on-leash OK. Meeting location in Pilot Hill. FREE. A detailed email will be sent once you register online.
