This fall, we were honored to coordinate Latino Conservation Week across the Sierra and host two of our own events. We’re proud to help elevate Latino voices and engagement in Sierra conservation!

Our advocacy efforts led to over 50 meetings with state legislators, organized Sierra Day at the Capitol with 70+ participants, and secured a Climate and Natural Resource Bond on the November ballot through Proposition 4, despite a challenging state budget.

Through our workforce development programs, we have strengthened on-the-ground conservation by building capacity and collaborating with over 40 organizations, agencies, and tribal partners.

Our grant technical assistance to tribes across the region has helped secure over $5 million of dollars in funding to support their key priorities and projects.
