BYLT invites the community to join in celebration of our newest Preserve! Gather with BYLT Board and staff, friends, and neighbors under leafy cover of one of Wildflower Ridge Preserve’s heritage oak groves for a toast to the land and a Preserve-inspired reading by Nevada County Poet Laureate Kirsten Casey.

Parking for the event is available at Twin Cities Church adjacent to the Preserve. From the parking lot you can access Wildflower Ridge trailhead which will lead you into the Preserve and on your way to the reception. We’ll have volunteers to greet you as well as printed guides with family-friendly activities to engage your interests and challenge your knowledge along the ½ mile, self-guided tour. The path you weave to the reception is relatively flat and covered, with a low-level of difficulty, though please reach out to BYLT if you require assistance. Refreshments will be on hand for all to enjoy; as will BYLT’s Land Managers, who will be at the ready to speak on the Preserve’s unique qualities and rare species. Hope to see you there!
