The Rural Climate Capacity Workshop is hosted by Sierra Business Council and sponsored by the California Air Resource Board (CARB) and UC Davis Center for Regional Change. This workshop is intended to provide feedback and input to CARB regarding state mandates and goals regarding building decarbonization, reducing vehicle miles traveled, and electric vehicle readiness in rural communities on the Western Slope of the Sierra Nevada (e.g., Tuolumne, Mariposa, Calaveras counties). A representative from CARB will be present for this workshop.
