On May 17th, SYRCL’s Botany Technician, Summer Driscoll, and our Restoration Coordinator, Reed Herbison, will be taking folks out on a naturalist walk in Hammon Grove. We will be looking at wildflowers, oak trees, butterflies, and really anything we can spot by the lower Yuba River! And of course, we will be incorporating some fun facts in how to identify flowers, mushrooms, and some trees that are in the area.
