Friends of the Inyo and California Fish and Wildlife have partnered up to bring you this series of “Meet the Expert” sessions.

California has incredible biodiversity but also is the most human populated state in the US. Consequently, human-wildlife interactions are on the rise. Awareness and knowledge are our best tools for keeping wildlife, our properties, and ourselves safe.

Come on out to the Lakes Basin and meet Wildlife Conflict Specialist Tate Del Bosco. She responds to wildlife incidents, teaches and encourages safe human-wildlife interactions, and increases public awareness about wildlife in the Eastern Sierra.

She will have skulls, visual examples of animal tracks, animal tracking devices, maps of animal home ranges, plus a wealth of knowledge, and much more…

Where: Mammoth Lakes Basin: Horseshoe Lake Parking Area

When:  Swing by from 9am-12pm on Aug 12, Aug 26, Sept 9, and Sept 23

This event is free and great for the kiddos!
