Lake Tahoe Wildflower Walk
June 5, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Join the Sierra State Parks Foundation for a Lake Tahoe Wildflower Walk in Washoe Meadows State Park!
Lisa Berry, local wildflower aficionado and guide, will lead a short hike to the main meadow and the fen to see the Star Lily, Round-leaved Sundew, and other seasonal wildflowers.
This is a 3.5-mile hike with no elevation gain.
All attendees must sign in. All are welcome!
Washoe Meadow State Park is home to beautiful flower fields and while some of the flower may not technically be native, they have sure thrived in their Tahoe home.
Meeting Spot: Mountain Meadow between N. Upper Truckee Rd. and View Circle, South Lake Tahoe. Meet at the brown gate (it is set back from the road)
