The eagerly anticipated snowshoe tour is here! Join Community Engagement Manager Megan Green Wells on a tour of snowy Bear Valley on Hwy 20.
An outing for all experience levels–if you don’t know how to snowshoe, don’t be deterred–we will teach you how! On the tour, we’ll look at and identify the native flora and fauna in the area, look for wildlife tracks, make some of our own, and have a lot of fun!

About Bear Valley: This montane wet meadow is known for playing a unique and crucial role in the ecology of many bird species found in the Sierra Nevada. BYLT is expecting to close on the 2,600 acre conservation easement at Bear Valley in late 2022.
This event will be fully refunded if there is not enough snow to snowshoe.
