IN THE FIELD 5k Fun Run at Cascade Canal Trail on Saturday, September 10 from 8:30-10:00 am.

Join us for our 5K Fun Run at Cascade Canal Trail in Nevada City. This trail is a moderate/mostly flat trail that is suitable for all levels and runs adjacent to BYLT’s Woodpecker Preserve. All ticket proceeds support local trails. Sierra TrailBlazers Running Club will be helping with the lead and sweep for the race. Top Male and Female racers will win a prize!

Gracie Road Trailhead: Take either Gracie Road or Banner Lava Cap Road easterly from Nevada City. The parking area is on Gracie Road about 700 feet northwest (downhill) from the intersection with Banner-Lava Cap Road. Look for a “Cascade Canal Access Trail” sign on the east side of this parking area (N39.24106 W120.99855). A pleasant trail leads into the forest from this trailhead and connects with the main trail in 0.3 miles.
