Looking for a way to help keep Lake Tahoe clean, pristine, and litter free?

Our Tahoe-based SNAP members have assembled our Clean in a SNAP Tahoe Blue Crew to help clean up around the Jewel of the Sierra. The next cleanup is scheduled for Sunday, June 11, from 6 – 8 pm, and we invite you to join us for a sunset cleanup!

Every volunteer must sign a waiver, which can be completed online. Each volunteer must create an account and sign the waiver in their volunteer portal. The waiver can be found in the individual’s account, under the “qualifications” tab. Create an account and sign the waiver here.

The clean-up will take place at Chimney Beach on the East Shore of Lake Tahoe before sunset. This is a popular beach where trash is often left behind and should provide a great opportunity to clean up after a busy weekend.

Parking can be difficult, so please coordinate carpools. Please reach out to our SNAP members for assistance.

What to bring: Gloves, water bottle, litter picker, sturdy shoes, and layers. Cleanup supplies will be available to use for those who need them.
