Join Bear Yuba Land Trust’s Stewardship Manager Kate Gazzo for a hike on the Yuba Rim Trail at Rice’s Crossing North to the scenic overlook on March 12th at 9 am. We will walk through a variety of habitats and discuss forest management onsite including fires, forest thinning, management challenges, invasive species, forest succession, and Rice’s property acquisition. Hike will be roughly four miles round trip and moderately strenuous.
