A fishing tournament with a purpose. On Saturday, June 3rd, 2023, we will begin the tournament with a day of cleaning up the Mustang section of the Truckee River east of Reno, NV. We hope to engage non-anglers as well with a raffle on the day of the cleanup for volunteers who do not wish to participate in the Fly-Fishing Tournament. If we can get together as a community and get individuals interested in the outdoors, then there are more of us to take care of it and protect our natural resources.

The tournament will begin at the end of the river cleanup and run through Sunday afternoon. Prizes with be awarded for a handful of categories. Visit our Tournament Rules page for more info on rules and prize categories. Location of the ceremony is Ole’ Bridge Pub along the Truckee River in downtown Reno, NV.

All river clean-up tools and safety equipment will be provided. We will have water and snacks for all volunteers and tournament participants for the day of the cleanup. Be prepared for summer weather and drink lots of water!
