Take Action!

Underrepresented communities of color, including immigrant communities, encounter numerous barriers when attempting to access the best America has to offer: our National Parks and other Federal Recreational Lands. Ask Federal agencies to provide passes to these communities upon naturalization as a "Welcome to America" gift.

TAKE ACTION

Please show your support for improved access to America’s most treasured places by calling for the U.S. Department of Interior (DOI), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to:

  • Provide an America the Beautiful Pass as a “Welcome to America” gift to each newly naturalized citizen at swearing-in ceremonies;
  • Consider the barriers that cashless entry to National Parks and other recreational sites impose on unbanked individuals; and
  • Cooperate to host swearing-in ceremonies for new citizens on public land recreation sites.

Jaddou.

Sign this petition to let these decision makers know that you are in support of better access to nature for immigrants, low income people, and unbanked individuals! Note: signing this petition does not mean you will be undersigned as a signatory to the letter. This petition will be used to demonstrate nationwide support for the precious value of improving access to our perpetually protected, expansive, and scenic public lands and waters.
