WE ARE HIRING! We are excited to announce that the Sierra Corps Forestry Fellowship Program is now recruiting applicants for Forest Health Fellowship positions for the 2021 term. The application will be open until 9:00pm on October 12, 2020.
This is the second year of our new workforce development program that aims to increase workforce capacity for forest restoration, wildfire resilience, and biomass utilization projects in the Sierra Nevada. The Alliance will place two to three Fellows with partner organizations throughout the region for one year of forest-health related employment. While still being finalized, it is highly likely that we will have positions located in Chico and Mammoth Lakes, CA. Fellows conduct work related to forestry assessment, planning, project permitting, project management, and other essential restoration implementation and mitigation tasks.
