Director of Finance – Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation

Position Summary:

Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation is seeking a highly motivated professional with leadership experience in Finance. The ideal candidate has prior work experience in financial reporting and is interested in using their talent in the philanthropic sector. The ability to work independently and with professionals of all levels is a must. This position will report to and work closely with the CEO.

Duties include:

  • Managing financial systems, including reporting and analysis
  • Overseeing administrative personnel and consultants involved in financial systems
  • Staff lead on Finance Committee, Investment Committee and Audit Committee

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years finance experience or advanced degree
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Comfortable working in diverse settings and groups
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Applications, accounting systems, financial reporting
  • Preferred experience in fund accounting, community foundations and/or philanthropy

Salary: $70,000-$85,000 based on experience.
