The Tahoe Area Sierra Club and Sierra State Parks Foundation will be hosting a clean up at Washoe Meadows State Park on June 15, 2024 starting at 9:00 am and going till 11:00 am. The trails around Washoe Meadows State Park are relatively flat. We ask those joining us to come prepared due to there being no facilities in the area so be prepared with snacks, water, and sunscreen. Washoe Meadows is part of the Upper Truckee Watershed which flows into Lake Tahoe. Litter in the park pollutes our streams, rivers, aquifers and then flows into the Lake. You can help clean the park, and protect Big Blue!
