In the midst of adversity, honey bees continue to survive, pollinate and make honey. Native bees have a different story. This evening’s event will offer tastes of different varietal kinds of honey and what makes them special. Additionally, experience a flight of mead. The world’s oldest alcoholic beverage is made from honey and water and can be dry, sweet, or even bubbly.

Join Amina Harris, director of the UC Davis Honey and Pollination Center for an evening that will be the bee’s knees on July 21 from 5:30-7:30pm.
