This hike leads the group through a variety of riparian habitats along Deer Creek. The hike is moderate, but steep in spots. The group will move along at a pace conducive to viewing the creek and observing salmon habitat, with our goal to make it to the CDFW fish ladder on our preserve. We will begin from the interior trailhead for the reserve, located off K-line Road which is accessed from Hwy 32, about 45 minutes east of Chico park and ride.
