Time: Showtimes at 5:00pm and 7:30pm

Description: Film Screening

In this film, a taut autopsy of this disaster, key players dig through the painful memories to relive what happens when nature overwhelms. Buried is produced and directed by Tahoe locals Steven Siig and Jared Drake, who both live in Alpine Meadows. Steven Siig is also one of the Art Haus owners, and co-owner Mark Gogolewski is an executive producer of the movie. The film won the Audience Award at MountainFilm in Telluride, the Silver Audience Award at the Boulder International Film Festival, Best Documentary at the BendFilm Festival and Austin Film Festival, and was accepted into the prestigious Banff Film Festival and Whistler Film Festival. Directors Siig and Jared will be at most of the 7:30 pm screenings for Q&A, along with some of the main characters, through Dec. 9.
