SEED Gathering & Workshop #3 – The Future of Water

June 14, 2025 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Register Now

Join us for the last SEED gathering of the 2024-2025 school year! S.E.E.D. – the Sequoia Environmental Education Directive – is a coalition of non-profit organizations, educators, local businesses and stakeholders who are interested in promoting outdoor education and supporting climate literacy in Tulare County.

On June 14th, we will have an amazing line-up of field experts, environmentalists, and educators who will be leading presentations and workshops on water in the Valley – from history to now, and where we are going in the future. Attendees will learn about the natural and man-made systems that we rely on for water, the immense obstacles we face in the region, and the amazing work that is being done to promote future resilience and sustainability.

There will be two rounds of workshop rotations. The first rotations will build content knowledge around the themes and the second round will feature K-12 educators in each grade band who are willing to share educational lessons and hands-on activities. Our goal is to support K-12 teachers in teaching about climate change through field trips.

We will be providing refreshments and a delicious lunch at the end!

This event is FREE for all attendees!
