River Ambassadors are volunteer environmental stewards trained to engage South Yuba River State Park visitors in Leave No Trace ethics and personal action to keep the river healthy, clean and safe. Stationed at heavily utilized river crossings, Ambassadors speak face-to-face with the public to provide the knowledge and tools they need to protect the Yuba.

Join the dedicated team of River Ambassadors for Summer 2020! River Ambassadors are stationed at Highway 49, Bridgeport, Edwards, and Purdon Crossings each weekend from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Due to COVID-19, this training will be held via Zoom. Links will be sent out to all RSVP’ed volunteers the week of the event.
