It’s wildflower season! And thanks to the many, many storms we’ve had over the past months, we should be in for a real treat this year. Curious to find out more about these beautiful, colorful treasures, where to find them, and why we have so many different ones in our area? Then be sure to join us on April 27th at 7pm for our April Nature and You Lecture Event. We will be joined by our very own Dr. Glen Holstein, botanist, Tuleyome board member, and wildflower expert.

Dr. Holstein received his PhD in botany from UC Davis and retired from his position as Senior Scientist with Zentner Planning and Ecology, a local biological consulting company. He served as the chapter botanist for the Sacramento Valley Chapter of the California Natural Plant Society (CNPS) and is a founding member of the Stebbins Chapter of CNPS which serves Yolo and Colusa counties. He also serves as a volunteer board member for Tuleyome.
