Register Now

Please join American River Conservancy on Wednesday, April 27th from 4:30pm to 7:30pm for a Mountain Biking Interpretive Exploration at Salmon Falls Ranch & Acorn Creek Trailhead. Trail exploration will be centered around connecting people to the wonders of the natural world. Participants will learn to develop skills in observation, identification and interpretation. All ages are welcome, but children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

Take a ride with us and learn new and inventive ways to see and experience nature. In this clinic you will learn some local history and some of the flora and fauna of the area. Most importantly you will learn how to teach others how to experience and see more of the natural world while mountain biking. Learn experiential education and interpretive nature guide tips and tricks to incorporate into your next ride. This clinic is ideal for those that lead group rides, mountain bike trail initiatives, coach or guide.  You will ride away with new activities, ideas and concepts on how to incorporate nature based learning while on the trails. Let’s work together to build more connections and relationships with nature!

A day use fee is required to park at Acorn Creek Trailhead. Event participants are not required to pay. Please print receipt of event registration and display in your dash as receipt of payment.
