The Sierra District Dive Team will host an underwater “Live Dive” adventure at Emerald Bay State Park. Students and viewers will have the opportunity to experience what it would be like to go scuba diving in Lake Tahoe as the team goes looking for fish, sunken artifacts, and geologic features. Participants will engage directly with members of the California State Parks Scuba Dive Team while they are 25–30 feet underwater in Lake Tahoe. A topside interpreter will also interact with participants to discuss the natural and cultural history of the California State Parks in the Lake Tahoe Region.
