Labor Day Cleanup and Tahoe Blue Crew Training

September 4, 2023 @ 8:30 am - 11:30 am

Register Now

On holiday weekends during the summer, beaches take the brunt of the impact. The litter that gets left behind can hurt wildlife and the Lake’s clarity.

Be part of the solution! Join the League, Tahoe residents, and visitors to make a positive impact on the environment by removing litter from Lake Tahoe’s shores.

Registration: Respond here. Final details will be sent the week before the event. You are able to walk-in and join us on September 4! If you don’t register in advance, you will need to complete a volunteer waiver onsite when you check in.

Interested in joining our Tahoe Blue Crew program and cleaning up an adopted zone of your own? Join us for one of our in-person trainings during the event and collect your cleanup kit on-site! Trainings will take place at 10-11 am and 11:30am-12:30pm. For more information about the Tahoe Blue Crew program, click here.

Be sure to bring:

  • Full reusable water bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Cleanup gloves (if you have them)
  • Hat, sunglasses, comfortable clothing, and shoes
  • Any snacks you would like

We provide:

  • Cleanup materials (gloves, bags, etc.)
  • Gloves and hand sanitizer
  • Refreshments
  • Cool giveaways

Further details:

Final details will be sent a few days prior to the event date to registered volunteers.

Volunteers under 13 will need to have a guardian sign the waiver, and the volunteer must bring the signed waiver to the event. The guardian may also attend the event and can sign off for the minor at the event.
