A Virtual and Live Experience

Regenerative agriculture can revive farmer prosperity, reduce flooding and drought, replenish fresh water sources, reduce fire hazards, reverse climate change, recreate regional access to nutrient-dense food, reduce toxic pesticides and fertilizers, reduce dead zones and water pollution, and reconnect humanity with nature.

Join your local land trust, American River Conservancy, along with neighbors and friends to explore how regenerative farming practices pull excess carbon from the atmosphere to nourish the soil beneath your feet. Find out how you can help to offset climate change in your own backyard and build healthy ecosystems in your community.

Here’s what you get with each reservation for a $20 suggested donation:

1. Watch the movie virtually at home
– View the award-winning feature film, Kiss the Ground, preferably before the live event (no expiration date)

2. Participate in-person on Saturday October 16th at Wakamatsu Farm in Placerville, CA
– Ticket to the live, wheelchair accessible panel discussion with experts on regenerative farming, soil science, and Native American land practices

Farm tours by the resident farmers of Free Hand Farm and FogDog Farm (sorry, tours are not wheelchair accessible)
– Free parking for Open Farm Day
– Light refreshments

All proceeds benefit landmark Wakamatsu Farm.  We look forward to seeing you at this engaging experience!
