Jared Manninen is a certified California Naturalist, birder, botanizer and nature photographer who’s lived in South Lake Tahoe since 2005. He’s worked in the outdoor recreation industry for most of his time living at Lake Tahoe. Jared is also the creator of the backcountry blog TahoeTrailGuide.com, where he shares information about hiking, backpacking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing at Lake Tahoe and the surrounding Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Jared will share many of his plant and wildlife photographs while offering different approaches for incorporating outdoor adventures into your daily life, as well as ways in which to create more immersive experiences when outdoors.

Doors open at 6:30 pm for refreshments. Books, posters and other merchandise will be available.
