EcoTour: Wildflowers and Blue Oak Woodlands at Dixon Ranch

Step into a breathtaking blue oak savannah just northeast of Chico, where canyons, seasonal streams, and sweeping grasslands create a landscape rich in beauty and biodiversity. Next spring, this cattle ranch will transform into a wildflower paradise, with vibrant blooms carpeting the hillsides.
Key Features:
- Tour guided by local botanist and NCRLT Leadership
- Auto-tour with short walks to wildflower and wildlife viewing and vistas.
- Includes locally sourced picnic with beverages.
We will meet at the NCRLT office in Philadelphia Square complex in North Chico and caravan to the site. An email with directions and further instructions will be sent out prior to the event.
This event is rain or shine. However, extreme weather will cancel and be rescheduled for a future date.
