Join Ami Stroud, ARC volunteer and hike enthusiast on May 14th from 12 pm – 2 pm, as they lead this easy 1-mile shaded loop trail leading your group to the river for a picnic to watch people in rafts, kayaks, and stand up paddle boards float by. Look for a rock that looks like a mushroom, a Ponderosa Pine too big to put your arms around, the smooth cool trunk of a majestic Madrone tree, and remnants from gold miners. This BLM trail was built in memory of a former Conservation Ranger who loved the outdoors and was stricken with MS at age 35. The trail is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Well-behaved dog on-leash OK. All ages and abilities welcome.
