Join the Bishop Paiute Tribe in celebrating Earth Day on April 24th at the Owens Valley Paiute Shoshone Cultural Center by participating in one of the many volunteer opportunities. Volunteers will have the option to clean up around the Bishop Paiute Tribe reservation, at recreation sites on BLM lands surrounding the Bishop area, or to assist with weeding in the Food Sovereignty Program garden or with planting the new Cultural Center memorial garden. There will be free coffee and burritos in the morning, first come, first serve, as well as a speaker from the Owens Valley Indian Water Commission.
