On Thursday, August 8, at 12 pm, Power in Nature will receive a special presentation from Karin Winters, Program Director at the California Council of Land Trusts (CCLT).

Karin will present on CCLT’s availability of funding for projects that build and sustain the capacity of California land trusts and their partners to help implement California’s Pathways to 30×30 and the Natural and Working Lands Climate Smart Strategy. There are currently two grants open: Capacity Building Grants and Project Advancement Grants.

Karin will provide an overview of the grant programs, the goals, the application process, and talk a bit about partnering with Land Trusts. Karin will focus on the Capacity Grant and touch base on the Project Advancement Grant. Following the presentation, we will have time for questions.
