Take Action!

The Innovation Center for Ecosystem Climate Solutions (Center) is a state funded collaboration between eight California research institutions working to develop innovative solutions to managing California’s wildlands to reduce negative impacts of drought and climate change. The Center’s goal is to identify land management practices that simultaneously enhance carbon sequestration, reduce wildfire severity, protect watersheds, and increase ecological and community resilience.

In order to better align this effort, the Center is asking for your help in identifying problems and issues like wildfire & water supply, multiple benefits and beneficiaries of wildlands management, data and information gaps, and major implementation barriers.
The Center is conducting a survey to better understand stakeholder needs and develop data/information solutions for active ecosystem management. Your responses will help ensure that this work serves the needs of land managers and stakeholders in the most efficient way possible.

Thank you for taking part in this important research project. If you have any questions about the CECS project or are interested in getting more involved, contact the UC Center for Ecosystem Climate Solutions.
The UC Center for Ecosystem Climate Solutions work is funded by the Strategic Growth Council of California.
